Hockenheim, is the crib of the German Motorsport. Traditionally it hosts the finals of the DTM. This spectacular event attracts and brings thousands of fans. Similary to Nurburging it has a rich and exciting history, This track is a special favorite of Michael Schumacher. So make yourself comfortable in your seat, take a deep breath and watch the drivers race on the famous Parabolica or taking the sixth curve and after it’s over take a part in celebrating the race and the victorious drivers. The legendary and well known around the world Nurburgring race track does not need to be introduced to the Motorsport fans – everyone knows about it. It is a must see, at least once in a lifetime, for most of the diehard Motorsport enthusiasts. It is also a very demanding track for the race drivers, for whom winning a race at Nurburgring bears a special importance. The DTM races are run on the shorter version of the Grand Prix track (3,629 km) which translated to more rounds, more action and more satisfaction for the fans. The Formula 1 Spielberg race track, known also as the Red Bull Ring, also has a rich history. Picturesquely set within the frame of greenery and the tops of the Alps mountains gives an incredible backdrop to the fierce competition as the race drivers must face and triumph over the elevation difference that they will encounter while racing on the track. Those who visit must, along with the unforgettable memories of the races, bring back a picture with the Red Bull who guards the entry to the track. And is the name of Steven Spielberg comes to mind – you are not mistaken – the roots of the famous movie director go back to this small Austrian village. FROM WARSAW TO TREBLINKA – THE JEWISH TRAIL
Envision, Warsaw in 1940. Nazi uniforms everywhere. Citizens killed, imprisoned or dragged away to the Nazi concentration camps. Among them, those who suffered an almost total decimation – the Warsaw Jews – a population of 400.000. The construction of the ghetto began in 1940. Quickly the population was half a million. For the majority the only way out was through the gas chambers in Treblinka. On this tour you will walk the streets where the ghetto was and hear stories about the life within, of the escapes from it and of the ghetto uprising. You will see the ghetto monument and other commemoration sites, hear of the lives of the Jews during the occupation, and before it. About how vivid the Jewish community in Warsaw once was and how much of its legacy lives on in the architecture, literature and most importantly in our memory. After lunch we will depart for Treblinka, once the Nazi concentration and extermination camp and now a memorial site, where you can learn about the horror and cruelty that was inflicted upon the prisoners.
GĄSIOROWO AND DĄBROWA – SAVOR THE FLAVORS OF POLISH FOOD

GOOD EVENING WARSAW
To see Warsaw during the approaching holiday season when the City dresses up for the festivities is to remember the City forever. We will drive through the wonderfully illuminated Nowy Świat and let you off at the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus – the onset of the famous Royal Tract. It will be as if you had stepped into a fairy tale and submerged yourself into the magic of Christmas. We will stroll on to the illuminated Royal Castle and wander through the Old Town Square with its stylish restaurant and outdoor heated gardens ﬁlled with people speaking many different languages. For a moment or two you will not be sure if this is Warsaw, Prague, Barcelona or Vienna. We pass the square and make our way to the New Town and the terrace on Gnojna Góra. From here you will have a wonderful view of the lit up bridges and illuminations on the other side of the river. Next, we will drive to Wilanów – the former Royal residence – to see show of lights and sound, called “Royal Garden of Lights”.
KAZIMIERZ DOLNY – THE POLISH MONTMARTRE
What is the connection between rooster- the bird and Kazimierz? Why do we say that Kazimierz is the Polish Montmartre? Visit this amazing town with us and get answers to these questions. This beautiful city delights in every season. Rich in monuments, located alongside the twisted banks of the Vistula river and the hill overgrown by trees offers variety of activities. While downtown we can spend time meandering between art galleries, old tenement houses and nice restaurants and coffee shops. Kazimierz is small enough to tour it slowly on foot. We’re going to start our trip at the Sarzyński local bakery and bake the traditional roosters according to a traditional recipe. Then we’ll stroll on down to the castle ruins and the tower on the hill. We shall not pass by the majestic basilica built of the local limestone. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, depending on the weather conditions, we’re going to take a Vistula river cruise or drive through the picturesque canyon.
LUBLIN – THE EASTERN CAPITAL OF POLAND
An extraordinary city, where difficult and distressing history had tangled the Polish and the Jewish fate. This is a perfect trip for those who wish to see and hear more about the Polish and the Jewish history. We will start the tour at one of the biggest open-air museums in Poland – the Museum of Lublin Village, where we will learn about the old customs and ways of life of the past inhabitants of the village. Our next stop will be Majdanek – a former concentration camp, and today a unique museum commemorating the horrors of the Second World War. At the end we will visit Lublin, and one of the greatest Old Towns in Poland, which together with the Neo-Gothic castle will create a picturesque background for reflection and calming emotions.
LUBLIN – THE JEWISH OXFORD
Lublin once served as one of the most important centers of Jewish life commerce, culture and scholarship in Europe. It had the world’s largest Talmudic school, Yeshybot and was by some called the Jewish Oxford. So, come and trail with us on the Jewish path in Lublin as it gives a unique perspective on the history of the town. Venture into the history of the Jewish community that once constituted more than 30% of the city population. While in the Old Town, stop at the Grodzka Gate. In 1941 it was renamed the Jewish Gate to mark the demarcation line between the Jewish Ghetto and the non-Jewish part of town. Visit the old “Kirkut” –with some of the original Matzevahs. Stop and ponder on the past, the present and the future in the front of the extraordinary building – the largest Thora study center in the world – the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva Synagogue – still an active temple today. Visit Majdanek, once a Nazi-Germany concentration and extermination camp and today a museum and a memorial site.
MOUNT KAMIEŃSK – EXTREME FUN YEAR ROUND

PLAYING THE HISTORY GAME- THE CHERSK CASTLE
Let’s go to Czersk. It is one of the oldest Mazovian settlements and one time, an important royal town with the imposing 14th century gothic palace. Over time it had fallen into disrepair, but the three grand towers and a large section of the walls are still standing and the curators have many stories to tell about the grand past of the castle. While touring the castle you can play an unusual game “Guess who was here”? You get a set of cue cards and off you go. But stand guard – you never know whom you will run into along the way. A real-life players dressed to par will appear on the way. You will have to distinguish them with the aid of the cue cards. It is fun, but it keeps you on your toes. The game is an innovative idea of the curators of the castle. They participate as the live players. You will also hear the history of the castle and the town. Then it will be time for lunch. Weather permitting, we will stroll through the village and down to the lake. On warm summer days we can have a picnic by the lakeside.
The Noblemen’s’ Bounty - The Culinary and Folklore Trail

If you haven’t been to Toruń yet, it’s time to change that. There is so much to see and so much to do in Toruń! The City, situated on the banks of the Vistula River, has a rich history. It is surrounded by the magnificent ruins of the Teutonic Knights castle, adorned with the Gothic Old Town where each alley hides mysteries and surprises. Nicholas Copernicus, who was born in Toruń, is the brand and the symbol of the city. But Toruń has much more to offer. For example the medieval tradition of baking gingerbread and with us you will have the opportunity to make and bake them yourself at the unusual, interactive Gingerbread Museum. During the tour we will also have a great dinner and option to try gingerbread beer from the craft brewery. And at the end, on your own leisure time, everyone will have the chance to discover other interesting places in the city and buy souvenirs.

ŁÓDŹ AND HER JEWS – GETTING BEHIND THE HISTORY
See Łódź – a city like no other. In 1815, inhabited by a thousand people. By 1915, the manufacturing empire with 600 K. Profoundly influenced by the Jews, who in 1938 accounted for 34% of the city population. Some like the Carnegie Hall performer, Arthur Rubinstein, or the king of cosmetics, Max Factor went on to influence the world. Others, like Israel Poznański, Markus Silberstein and Szaja Rosenblatt contributed to making Łódz the manufacturing kingdom. Many lived an ordinary life and thousands had perished in the horror of the German occupation. To trail their history, we will visit the Jewish cemetery, learn about the ghetto field, see where the ghetto was and go to the Łódź Umschlagplatz – the Radegast station. You will hear about their lives during and before the occupation. After lunch we will walk down the Piotrkowska Street to see the bronze statues of Rubinstein, Poznański and others of the “Łódź Famous” and visit the Reicher Synagogue. We will wind up our tour at “Manufaktura”– the art and shopping gallery embedded in the Poznański’s old manufacture plant as if it were the testimony rendered by the people of Łódź that “it wasn’t entirely for nothing” and that the Jewish legacy lives on.
ŁÓDŹ – THE PROMISED LAND
Łódź and Żyrardów – both former great industrial powers. Although, modern today still proudly cultivate their industrial past. Both still full of unusual tenement houses, big luxury residences and once worth millions factory buildings. Cities with fascinating textile history which do their best to meet the needs of its current residents while looking after their proud legacy. During the trip we will visit both Żyrardów and Łódź. It will be a nutshell sort of a trip focused on the most important sites. In Żyrardów, among other things, we will visit the Linen Museum. In Lodz we will tour the restored Priest Mill and stroll through the Piotrkowska Street – the most prestigious street of Łódź full of beautiful houses, interesting sculptures and cozy cafes. After a wonderful dinner we will visit the Manufaktura -once the greatest industrial plant and now the modern spacious shopping center and see some of the industrial parts of Łódź to finish with the Palace of the manufacturer Izrael Poznański where the guide will tell us the remarkable history of wealth similar to the Rockefellers family.
