Let’s go to Czersk. It is one of the oldest Mazovian settlements and one time, an important royal town with the imposing 14th century gothic palace. Over time it had fallen into disrepair, but the three grand towers and a large section of the walls are still standing and the curators have many stories to tell about the grand past of the castle. While touring the castle you can play an unusual game “Guess who was here”? You get a set of cue cards and off you go. But stand guard – you never know whom you will run into along the way. A real-life players dressed to par will appear on the way. You will have to distinguish them with the aid of the cue cards. It is fun, but it keeps you on your toes. The game is an innovative idea of the curators of the castle. They participate as the live players. You will also hear the history of the castle and the town. Then it will be time for lunch. Weather permitting, we will stroll through the village and down to the lake. On warm summer days we can have a picnic by the lakeside.
